Join us for lunch after church and help us raise money for our Costa Rica Missions Team.
FUMC sponsors overseas trips from time to time to work and spread the Gospel to people of all nations. In the past we have gone to Brazil, Uganda, Jamaica, and Honduras. We are always looking for opportunities to join with Christians all over the world and proclaim Jesus Christ.

Costa Rica Missions Trip 2012
 While in San Jose we partnered with ongoing ministries of Will & Ella Faircloth. Will is a professor at the Methodist Seminary in Costa Rica and Ella works in a variety of ministries that reach out to children in San Jose. We specifically worked alongside them with two projects while there. First, we helped construct a new orphanage building so that they may provide a home for more children who have nowhere to live. This is the second of a five home plan they are working on. Second, we taught Vacation Bible School in three different location. We served in both these ways while working alongside the Costa Ricans who live with these kids every day. It is our expectation to make this an annual trip and to keep our relationship with the Faircloths strong and mutually supportive in the days and years to come. We also maintain active relationships with missionaries in India, Kenya, Uganda, Haiti, Scotland, Equator, Cameroon, Albania, and other countries. In addition to maintaining relationships with individual missionaries, we are a part of the United Methodist Connectional system which ministers all over the world in countless ministries. FUMC is proud to be a part of our connectional system and supports our conference through apportionments.
